Returns, Refunds & Warranty

No return items will be accepted "unannounced." This means before returning an item for refund you must call Water Ionizer Authority at (866) 649-4380 to arrange your return and receive a return authorization number (RAN). No exceptions.

Accessory items:

Accessory items such as water drops or other "add to water" products may only be returned if the products have been unopened and the item is received by Water Ionizer Authority within 30 days of customer receipt of the product(s). Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds on accessory items which include filters are issued less the cost of replacement filter(s) for these items unless the item(s) being returned have been unused and all internal packaging has been unopened. Item(s) being returned used must be in like new condition and whether used or unused must be returned in the original packaging with all manuals, accessories other materials and internal packaging that were shipped with the item(s). Returns must be received by Water Ionizer Authority within 30 days of customer receipt of the product(s).

Warranty issues or returns under warranty are based on and handled by the manufacturer. Water Ionizer Authority will act as liason between the customer and manufacturer in most cases when necessary.

KYK:

Refunds on KYK products are sold with a 60-day money back guaranty. All returns must be received within 80 days of customer receipt of the product. Your KYK water ionizer must be returned in like new condition, free of scratches and dents, in the original packaging and complete with all manuals, accessories, printed materials and internal packaging originally shipped with the unit. Refunds will be issued once the unit being returned has been received and all return requirements mentioned above have been verified. Refunds will be less a 10% restocking fee and will be issued within 2 days of Water Ionizer Authority's receipt and verification of the unit being returned. Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Warranty: KYK water ionizers come with a 5-year warranty on parts and labor. Should have an issue with your KYK water ionizer that cannot be addressed by a KYK representative over the phone, the company will send you a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product to Water for Life USA for repair - once the repair has been made your unit will be returned to you - usually within 5 business days.

LIFE:

LIFE offers a 60 day money back guarantee. If at any time in the first 60 days you wish to return your unit, we will give you a full refund, less 15% return fee to be issued within 2 days of Water Ionizer Authority's receipt and verification that the unit being returned is in as new condition and in its original packing. "As new condition" and "original packaging" means the ionizer is not scratched, damaged or broken in any way and is returned with all the hoses, connectors, parts, manuals and DVDs etc. in the original external packaging with all internal packaging in place. Refunds will be issued once the unit being returned has been received and all return requirements mentioned above have been verified. LIFE water ionizer units must be returned to Water Ionizer Authority with 80 days of customer receipt of the unit. Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Warranty:

  • LIFE 3000 is one year full parts and labor
  • LIFE 4000 is 3 years full parts and labor
  • LIFE 5000, 7000, 7500 & 8000 are at five years full parts and labor
Warranty does not cover repairs caused by customer neglect. We provide a Free "hard water" pre-filter and housing for customers in "hard water" areas (17 grains or higher) and this must be used to provide warranty coverage in these areas, as this stops the build-up of calcium in hard water areas. Or we can supply a 5 stage reverse osmosis units for our customers in hard water areas - these are provided at less than wholesale costs. Neglect includes using the unit in a matter inconsistent with the directions in the owner's manual, as well as breakage resulting from dropping the unit or other carelessness. The warranty that is in effect at the time the machine is purchased is the one that is honored. Our warranty center is in the USA for your convenience.
